The Interoception Collection is a series of original acrylic paintings exploring the emotional landscapes that live beneath the surface of our everyday lives. Through expressive florals, layered color, and intuitive brushwork, these paintings reflect the quiet strength that emerges from moments of vulnerability, healing, and transformation.

This body of work was born from a deeply personal chapter of my life following a miscarriage in 2021. During that time, I experienced immense grief, but also unexpected moments of tenderness, resilience, and love. Each painting title in this collection is inspired by the gentle mantras I repeated to myself whenever fear or doubt began to take hold - small reminders of hope, compassion, and inner strength.

While these paintings are rooted in my personal story, they are ultimately about something universal: the human experience of navigating loss, renewal, and emotional growth. The lush floral imagery reflects the cyclical nature of life - how beauty, fragility, and resilience can exist all at once.

For many collectors, these works resonate not because they share the exact same experience, but because they recognize the feeling of moving through something difficult and finding softness on the other side.

The title of the collection, Interoception, refers to our ability to sense and understand what is happening within our bodies - the internal awareness that helps us answer the question: “How do I feel right now?” This inner awareness plays an essential role in emotional regulation, mental health, and our capacity to connect with others.

These paintings are an invitation to pause, listen inward, and honor the full spectrum of our emotional lives.
